69-year-old patient. Management from a periodontal perspective and stabilization of maxillary peri-implantitis.
In the mandible, terminal peri-implantitis leading to the removal of implants and significant resorption of the posterior mandible.
Treatment using 2 Kontact KMB implants (Biotech Dental) in positions 34 and 44, along with two posterior subperiosteal implants. Immediate loading in the evening with a full PMMA screw-retained provisional bridge.
