Complete Mandibular Case Treated with Two HUG® Subperiosteal Implants and a Bone Ressection Guide

This 73-year-old patient presented with severe mandibular bone resorption.
She was treated using two HUG® subperiosteal implants. Prior to implant placement, a bone reception guide was used to create bone slots and allow precise seating of the implant pillars.
This technique aims to limit soft tissue recession around the implant arms and promote long-term soft tissue stability.
The implant arms were covered with a biomaterial (Collapat II®).
The implants used were HUG® implants (Biotech Dental).
A definitive full-arch bridge with a titanium framework was delivered and passively screw-retained at the end of the surgical procedure.
This patient was treated by Dr Antoine Diss and Dr Laurine Birault at Arenas Dentistes, Nice, France.
