Complete bimaxillary rehabilitation using two implant strategies
Complete bimaxillary rehabilitation using two implant strategies guided by the residual bone volume after extraction.
Maxillary atrophy required the placement of two subperiosteal implants, assisted by a bone resection guide to anticipate post-extraction resorption and optimize long-term implant adaptation. The choice of this technique made it possible to avoid extensive bone grafting and sinus lift procedures, while allowing for the placement of a pre-fabricated provisional bridge.
The mandible was treated with the placement of four endosseous implants (All-on-4 technique) and the implementation of immediate loading (IL) on the evening of the surgery.
This patient was treated by Dr Antoine Diss and Dr Laurine Birault at Arenas Dentistes, Nice, France.
